The air quality in Klamath Falls, Oregon has been reported as poor for several years but is attributable to various different causes. Burning non-organic material outdoors or in uncertified woodstoves or fireplaces can impact the air quality. This often occurs in the cooler seasons of the year. One more recent and larger scale issue are large, high-intensity wildfires during the summer hot season.
