Wellness Zone Initiative: Be Smoke-Free

We plan to decrease smoking and vaping of any kind in the Wellness Zone by adopting a smoke-free policy and increaing awareness with signage and education.
Objectives:
  1. Increase tobacco/smoking policy and enforcement 
  2. Increase cessation class utilization
Strategies:
  1. City council adopts smoke-free zone policy
  2. Provide policy enforcement education and support for businesses
  3. Encourage prevalent smoke-free policy signage and communications
Measures of Success:
  1. Smoke-free zone policy adopted
  2. # of new smoke-free signs
  3. % decrease in cigarette butt litter
